Monday, 05/02/2011, 11:00 PM by admin

MobileNoter for iPhone 2.4 has reached the beta-test stage. And we are looking for more abortion side effects beta testers. If you want to participate, please send a request to

What's new in the version 2.4:

  • New synchronization algorithm: you can sync through Cloud and Wi-Fi in any order and you can sync more that one device using Cloud.
  • The tab "Other" doesn't exist anymore. Instead there is a button that allows you to clear your Cloud storage.
  • Quick Notes are now stored in the same section with the same name.
  • Wi-Fi pairing algorithm has been improved
  • Now it is possible to create a page within a section and move this page within a notebook until it is synchronized.
  • Page can be deleted from a section
  • It's possible to edit page titles and change status of tags in them
  • New filter for to-do tags: now it's possible to view only those which are not checked as completed

I emailed, but got back an error:
"tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain"
I saw the facebook post about beta testers being needed for version
2.4 on iOS, and was wondering if you were still looking.
I have a 64GB 3rd gen iPod touch, iOS 4.2.1, and the computer side is
an Asus EeePC 1005HA with WinXP SP3 2GB RAM.

It seems like 2.4 release will allow to create new page in the existing note book and remove the need to put something in Quick notes and then moving to the appropriate section in my notebook. Please confirm my understanding.

Are you planning on building a MobileNoter SE addition for the iPad?

Yes, it's been posted here before that SE will come to the iPad at some point.  Apparently, it's easier to develop for Android and port to iPhone/iPad.  Might want to add a forum to the site as trying to deal with all these questions via comments seems cumbersome and a waste of time.  Those of us that are following development could help answer these issues since they've been asked numerous times.
