In this post we will describe possible problems with MobileNoter Windows Sync Client on the PC with AVG Internet Security installed.
1. What to do if you accidentally put MobileNoter into Quarantine (That happens if you select Quarantine instead of Allow in "Identify protection" dialog box):
In this case you'll see such dialog box ("The system cannot find the file specified" in "Details"):
Reinstall of application won't help. You should remove MobileNoter from Quarantine manually.
To do this:
- Open your AVG application, select History->Virus Vault
In some seconds there will appear "Identify Protection" dialog box where you should select "Allow".
2. What to do if you have accidentally blocked Internet connection for MobileNoter (There will be a message "MobileNoter was not able to connect to the server. Please check your connection."):
Open AVG, select Tools->Firewall settings
Apply the settings and restart MobileNoter (right click on tray icon and select exit, then start the application from windows start menu). You may also need to restart your machine.
