To get started using MobileNoter SE, you need to install the app on your Android device. MobileNoter SE can work with files stored in a folder on your device and has an integrated Dropbox sync.

1. Working with files stored on the device
Simply place your notebooks (folders with .one files) on the memory card of your device to make them accessible to the app.
After this you need to select folders where your notes are stored. Tap on the button with gears to open application settings form:
Tap on "Sync Directories" to edit the list of the folders in which application will look for notes.
Select folders where your notes are stored and tap on the sync button to start the process.
Synchronization will be performed in background, but you can view its progress if you tap on the Sync button again.
Also you can check synchronization status at any moment if you hold your finger on the Sync button or run this option from the menu.
2. Working with files in Dropbox
You can also set up a convenient sync environment with your PC with the help of Dropbox service. To do this, you need to enter your Dropbox account credentials in application settings.
If the Dropbox sync is configured, application will also sync with Dropbox in addition to other local folders. If you open the "Sync Directories" list, you can see this folder.
3. Working with files in SkyDrive
Synchronization with SkyDrive is performed the same way as the Dropbox synchronization. You need to log into your Windows Live ID account and select what you want to sync.
4. Editing pages in notebooks
To edit a page, press the hardware menu button on your device and tap on the "Edit" button.
A bar with editing options will appear at the bottom of the screen.
You can edit text in existing outlines, create new outlines, move the outlines and add images to the page.
Tap on the outline if you want to move it or tap on the text to start editing it.
Button "T" is used to create new outlines with text.
In addition to simple typing, you can also define text formatting: text size, font style, size and color. Also it is possible to create bulleted lists.
One more useful option is possibility to create time-synced audio recordings. Tap on the button with microphone to start recording and the second tap will finish the process.
